Pope Francis invites all youth to come to World Youth Day in Lisbon, August 2023. World Youth Day (WYD) is the largest youth event in the world. Every three years hundreds of thousands of young people, sometimes millions, from around the world come together to discover and celebrate the Catholic faith. Join young people from the Dioceses of Utrecht, Breda, Roermond, Rotterdam and Paramaribo on their journey, called “Alegria! Arise and go”. 

For English speaking youth (<30) in the Netherlands we have a subgroup as part of our trip so we can offer translation when needed. You will travel with the Archdiocese of Utrecht and the dioceses Rotterdam, Breda and Roermond. The Diocese of Parimaribo will also join us. Please feel welcome to join and see the beautiful places Paris, Lourdes and Fatima for yourself!
